Exterior Decoration, Hale Barns

We were asked to restore and redecorate the full exterior of a large period home in Hale Barns. The house had not been maintained for around 15 years, and this showed in the worn timber and damaged masonry.

Our goal was to bring the exterior back to a high standard while keeping the original character of the building.

Because the house was tall and wide, we needed specialist access equipment to reach all areas.

The work included:

• Restoring and decorating all exterior windows
• Repairing or replacing damaged timber
• Sanding woodwork back to bare timber where needed
• Refurbishing and repainting fascia boards
• Preparing and decorating all exterior masonry
• Fully restoring the orangery

Any areas affected by decay were repaired, then carefully prepared, primed and finished to ensure the results strong and long‑lasting results.

We took great care to protect the home’s original features while improving its overall look. The size of the project meant we had to work with precision and pay close attention to detail at every stage.

The completed exterior brought the property back to life, restoring its character and giving it a durable, high‑quality finish.
